Ultima de la Tuile au Loup BH
We imported Akira from Belgium. She is extremely trustful, very calm and very hard to upset. You can do anything with her and she will just do whatever you want. She never gets agressive or nervous or scared. She is the big black dog, and at the same time the most steady and calm one of them all. People are scared of her, when they come here, because of her looks. That is funny somehow, as the Cattle Dogs are much more watchful than she is and she does not mind people coming or going. She is the dog that is always there, but even through she is so big you don't notice her somehow. She is a dog with a lovely temper. Akira is also our mediaval dog. She comes with us to all the camps and we do not need to tie her up anywhere or so. She will never walk away by herself and stays around the tents. She ignores dogs and other people and enjoys watching. We had visitors asking whether she is really alive. She is amazing and well beloved. Still, age shows now and she is getting old. At nearly 12 years of age that is to be expected, but hard to accept and see. We hope she will stay with us for a long time and that the day we have to say goodbye to this special girl is far, far away.Sadly, Akira had to be put down this autumn. We will always remember her kindly.
